Darling in the Franxx

Humanity built the mobile fortress city 'Plantation' on the devastated land, celebrating civilization within its walls. In this city, a pilot living facility known as 'Misturutin', commonly referred to as the 'Birdcage', was created. The children live there, unaware of the outside world and the freedom of the sky. The only mission they were taught was to fight. The enemy is a giant life form shrouded in mystery known as 'Kaiju'. To confront this unseen enemy, the children pilot robots called 'Franks', believing that riding them proves their existence. There was once a boy called a prodigy, with the code number 016, named Hiro. But now, he is a dropout, an unwanted existence. If he cannot pilot a Frank, he feels as if he does not exist at all. One day, before Hiro, a mysterious girl named Zero Two appears. From her forehead, two alluring horns emerge. 'I found you, my darling.'
